I assisted Benjamin Johnson who was trusting enough to handle the stills whilst allocating me to movement direct the moving image elements of this advert. Bringing my knowledge of mixed martial arts, callisthenics, athletics and cycling to marry an authentic physicality to the talent the client wanted for this dynamic advert.

A playful, animated brief this was such fun to bring to life. Working with actors with minimal dance experience gave the movement elements such authenticity and playfulness.
This song was tied to some deep trauma that Tom expressed to us during the conception of the idea, it was highly important as a movement director to keep a delicate open approach to make sure the final product showed the respect the stimulus deserved. Communication and creating a safe space was key to this shoot and I felt blessed to be apart of something so intimate and powerful.
Miles really wanted to bring out his darker elements during this shoot, it was a journey of finding movement that felt true to the nature of the track and authentic to his story as an artist. The process of letting go seemed cathartic and liberating for him during this shoot.
